ORMOND BEACH, Fla., June 4, 2018 The community is invited to join AdventHealth Memorial Medical Center on June 14 from 2 to 4:30 pm for a grand opening celebration of a new AdventHealth Centra Care urgent care facility.
During this free event, attendees will receive tours of the new 5,200 sq. ft. a facility, located at 1245 W. Granada Blvd., Ormond Beach. In addition, guests will enjoy rides on an inflatable mechanical surfboard and a waterslide, as well as snow cones, prizes, and more.
AdventHealth Centra Care is the areas only hospital-affiliated urgent care provider with both adult and pediatric-trained physicians available for families seven days a week.
This additional AdventHealth Centra Care facility will offer the community another access point to high-quality care, said Ed Noseworthy, AdventHealth Memorial Medical Center CEO. We already have a strong relationship with AdventHealth Centra Care and have seen firsthand the excellent service and care they provide patients at our locations in Daytona Beach and Port Orange. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to expand our services again and offer this new access point for patients in Ormond Beach.
Officially open to patients for care as of June 11, this facility is the 37th AdventHealth Centra Care in Florida and the fifth in Volusia County. Other AdventHealth Centra Care locations include Daytona Beach, DeLand, Orange City, and Port Orange.
AdventHealth Centra Care offers on-site labs and other immediate healthcare services such as X-rays, EKG, stitches, physicals, blood pressure testing, immunizations, and more.
As Florida’s original urgent care, we serve individuals and communities by providing fast and convenient care for urgent, non-emergency medical needs for more than three decades, says AdventHealth Centra Care President and CEO Scott Brady, MD. "Which is why we're excited to expand our network to include Ormond Beach and its surrounding areas."
Because time is valuable, AdventHealth Centra Care offers an online reservations system, to schedule to see a doctor when it's convenient. Knowing that injuries and illnesses can happen at the most unexpected moments, walk-ins are always welcome.
Employers and employees can also take advantage of the wide variety of occupational medicine offered by AdventHealth Centra Care, which includes pre-employment and workers compensations services, such as work injuries, employee physicals, and drug and alcohol testing for public and private employers of all sizes.
