3/10/2017 (Manchester, Kentucky) Do you know how bubbles are formed? Can plants grow in any liquid other than water? Do you how we can create an electric current using lemons? Do you know how solar panels can propel a lego truck forwards? These were just a few of the questions answered when Gooserock Elementary School debuted its first ever science fair on 10th of March 2017 in the school gym.
Students from pre school to grade 6 took active part in the competition. Four judges were on hand to declare the winners, including Hurriyat Ghayyur, marketing director of Manchester Memorial Hospital (MMH). It was great to see all the projects; we were really impressed to see the hard work put in by the students. The parents participation and encouragement were also commendable, remarked Ghayyur.
