DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 3, 2016 On April 28, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center recognized general surgeon Dr. Ronald Rasmussen as the physician of the quarter for the first quarter of 2016.
Dr. Rasmussen is a skilled surgeon and a highly respected leader within the hospital, said Ed Noseworthy, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center CEO. He genuinely cares about his patients and treats them with compassion. We are proud to recognize him as the physician of the quarter.

As a board certified general surgeon, Rasmussen has served in a variety of leadership positions at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, including roles on the medical executive committee, chief of surgery, and chief of staff.
