Fraternal Order of Eagles Donate $5,300

ORMOND BEACH, Fla., March 18, 2019 – On March 12, the Ormond-By-The-Sea Fraternal Order of Eagles #4435 donated more than $5,300 to AdventHealth Daytona Beach to provide mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women and men.

This is the fourth year the local Eagles organization has donated to AdventHealth Daytona Beach, bringing their total donations to the hospital at more than $15,600.

“We are so thankful for the generosity and support from our local Eagles,” said Carol Rumer, AdventHealth Daytona Beach manager of imaging services. “This is a personal passion for these women, as many are either cancer survivors or have a loved one who had cancer.”

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization with a motto of “people helping people.” Since the Ormond Beach chapter opened more than 35 years ago, it has been dedicated to raising funds and supporting local organizations.
