NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla., March 6, 2018 The community joined Florida Hospital New Smyrna for a free heart-healthy cooking demonstration on Feb. 20.
Jayne Meade, Florida Hospital New Smyrna registered dietitian nutritionist and clinical nutrition manager, and Jeff Pitterman, Florida Hospital New Smyrna executive chef, hosted the event and prepared a soup, eggplant lasagna and a blackberry cobbler.
Local cardiologist Dr. Winnie Liu was the celebrity guest chef, assisting in the cooking demonstration.
