AdventHealth Zephyrhills Introduces Dana Crowder
Zephyrhills, Florida…June 27,2019… Dana Crowder, BS, BSN-RN, has joined AdventHealth Zephyrhills as its Women’s Health Navigator. In her role, Crowder will guide you and your family through the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient services to streamline and support whole person care.
Crowder graduated from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is working on a Master’s in nursing with a concentration in Leadership and Management at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
“I’m passionate about putting together very customized care plans for women, and I love spending time educating patients so that they can live better, healthier, fuller lives. It’s exciting to be part of a wholistic health care organization and work in a community where I can touch so many lives,” Crowder said.
Crowder is also responsible for helping expectant moms with their birth plans and providing lactation and breastfeeding education. She’s available to offer emotional support to patients and their families, provide hospital tours and educational resources, and organize specialized classes to meet patients’ needs. Crowder’s role as a Women’s Health Navigator extends through many of AdventHealth Zephyrhills departments from The Baby Place® to cardiology, imaging, surgery, occupational therapy for lymphedema, and more.
Crowder is originally from North Carolina.
