TAVARES, Fla., July 9, 2019 – AdventHealth Waterman has selected Tim Hutching to serve as the facilities director, effective July 21.
In this new role, Hutching will be responsible for the overall operation of AdventHealth Waterman’s facility and biomedical engineering departments, as well as hospital construction projects and campus safety.
Hutching has nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare construction and facilities management and has been with the AdventHealth organization for 17 years. He most recently served as engineering director for AdventHealth Apopka and AdventHealth Winter Garden and oversaw the facilities and engineering departments, as well as biomedical engineering.
He has completed the project management certificate program at Clemson University. He has also led children’s ministry programs at local, state, and national levels over the past 25 years.
An Apopka resident, Hutching is a rare third-generation Central Floridian. Born in Orlando, Hutching has lived Apopka since 1980. His family owned and operated a foliage business and he and his grandfather fished together in many bass tournaments on Lake Dora.
