- Yoga Therapy to Boost Brain Health - 4 Week Series

Train your brain to improve memory and concentration. Learn the latest research while you practice yoga strategies designed to reduce risk factors for dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Education, gentle stretching, mindfulness meditation, and relaxation training are woven into these classes to reduce stress and promote healthy brain function.

- Yoga Therapy for Pelvic Floor - 4 Week Series

An essential insight into how the pelvic floor works, activating pelvic core muscles correctly, and training the muscles for symptom relief and prevention. Learn gentle daily movements and breathwork that will help create strength and balance in your pelvic floor.

- Yoga Therapy for Osteoporosis/Osteopenia - 4 Week Series

This educational movement class will help you gain insight and strategies to help increase and maintain bone density. This series uses standing and balance yoga postures to align the skeleton and maximize weight bearing benefits. All abilities welcome.

- Senior Strength - 6 Week Series

This functional movement class is designed to achieve whole body strengthening. Work to reinforce muscle strength, and prevent injuries, around joints that are associated with chronic pain, such as knees, hips, shoulders, and low back. Appropriate for all ability levels.

- Yoga Therapy for Scoliosis - 4 Week Series

These educational movement classes will help you gain insight into your personal patterning of curvature. You will use yoga postures to reduce pain and find more symmetry in the spine. All abilities welcome.

- Neck and Shoulders Yoga Workshop - 2 Class Series

Dissolve tension in the neck and shoulders with this educational movement class. Reduce pain while improving posture and ease of movement. Participants will look at the anatomy of the neck and shoulders while exploring range of motion. Class includes yoga practices to release tension, improve mobility, develop strength and flexibility in the neck and shoulders. Breathing and relaxation techniques are woven in to support healing. For all abilities.

- Yoga Therapy for Lymphatic Drainage

This therapeutic yoga class uses movement, yoga breathing, self-massage, and dry brushing to promote whole body circulation. This class includes gentle self-massage, seated yoga postures, deep breathing, and posture alignment with a focus on bringing awareness to tension habits in the body. Participants will leave with an educational handout outlining a home routine. For all abilities.

A deeply restorative yoga meditation practice. 1 hour = 4 hours of sleep. Enter a relaxed state of awareness where the mind and body can recharge.
Learn to transition from busy brain to being intentional about what is in your heart. We will explore feelings of purpose and strengthen our intentions to lead with the heart. A deeply restorative yoga mediation.

Move 4 Life
Move 4 Life is a monitored fitness program for individuals who have graduated from outpatient rehab or who have a chronic health condition but may not feel comfortable exercising alone. Our qualified staff will monitor your vital signs and design a safe and effective workout plan for your condition. This socially connected environment helps to make exercise a lifestyle.
This program is available for members MWF from 8 am to 4 pm in the AdventHealth Fitness Center. A medical release is required. To sign up, please call Call913-676-8133.
