
Move 4 Life
Move 4 Life is a monitored fitness program for individuals who have graduated from outpatient rehab or who have a chronic health condition but may not feel comfortable exercising alone. Our qualified staff will monitor your vital signs and design a safe and effective workout plan for your condition. This socially connected environment helps to make exercise a lifestyle.
This program is available for members MWF from 8 am to 4 pm in the AdventHealth Fitness Center. A medical release is required. To sign up, please call Call913-676-8133.

Build your concentration and coordination with these purposeful movements designed to improve joint strength, stability and flexibility while enhancing your core strength and balance. Each session is a 6 week series unless noted.
Tuesdays from 1 to 2 pm, May 10th to June 14th.
Thursdays from 1 to 2 pm, May 12th to June 16th.
Tuesdays from 1 to 2 pm, June 28th to August 2nd.

- Love Your Body Yoga - 6 Week Series

Practice yoga in a supportive environment to boost your body image with meditation, breath work and vinyasa flow. This class includes modifications for all body types. All fitness levels encouraged, especially those new to yoga.

Do you have rounded shoulders, forward and lowered head position? Do you need to lift the head to see when moving forward? This workshop aims to reduce rounded shoulders and improve head position. This class uses standing and seated movements only. Appropriate for all ability levels.

- Yoga Therapy for Nerve Related Back Pain - 4 Week Series

Nerves are designated to move! Healthy nerves glide and slide inside surrounding tissues. Learn to mobilize the nerves without overstretching. This movement class will use both floor and chair to effectively learn nerve flossing exercises for spine and nerve health. Appropriate for all ability levels. Series cost $60.
Precaution: Participants experiencing current nerve pain or sciatica flair are encouraged to seek medical care and wait until the flair subsides. Exercises performed in this class are preventative and may aggravate nerves if you are in an acute flair-up.

This functional movement class is designed to achieve whole body strengthening. Work to reinforce muscle strength and prevent injuries around joints that are associated with chronic pain, such as knees, hips, shoulders, and low back. This class is a great option for people with upcoming joint procedures, as well as for those that are hoping to postpone them. Appropriate for all ability levels.
