Wauchula State Bank has not only served the Florida Heartland since 1929 as a family-owned, locally managed community bank but also is helping to support health care needs in Hardee County by donating $100,000 to AdventHealth Wauchula's new facility building campaign. As thanks for this significant donation, AdventHealth Wauchula's Caf will be named in honor of Wauchula State Bank.
Our family's banking business is a great asset. Were able to manage for the long term and do what's in the best interest of employees, customers, and the community, said J.W. Bill Crews, Jr., Chairman of Wauchula State Bank. It is our goal to be a true local partner, and this opportunity has granted us just that. We look forward to the benefits this new facility will bring to the community we call home.
The opening of a new hospital facility in Wauchula later this year, and the opportunity to share in the excitement with the community is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, said Randy Surber, AdventHealth Sebring CEO. I am so pleased with Wauchula State Banks contribution to this initiative, and the lasting positive impact it will have on the community.
We appreciate Wauchula State Bank's desire to be a community partner, said Denise Grimsley, AdventHealth Wauchula's Vice President, and Administrator. Thanks to Wauchula State Bank's generosity, we have a wonderful opportunity to continue to provide quality health care to our Hardee County residents.
AdventHealth is honored to be the recipient of this generous gift. It will help in our continued growth and will ensure our neighbors continue to receive the state-of-the-art health care they have come to expect from AdventHealth, without leaving Wauchula, said Christen Johnson, AdventHealth Foundation Director. Wauchula State Banks remarkable gift is a testament to their loyalty, generosity, and investment in Hardee County's future.
