About this Event
Breastfeeding Success- This course will give you the confidence and knowledge to be successful in your breastfeeding journey. Our team will help you identify how to properly latch and position your baby for breastfeeding. You will learn to identify infant hunger cues, how to hand-express breastmilk, basics of using a breast pump, pumping tips, as well as solutions to common breastfeeding challenges. Support people are encouraged to attend and will learn how to support their partner effectively with breastfeeding. If available, bring a baby doll or stuffed animal with you to class to practice breastfeeding positions.
The Baby Place childbirth educators and registered OB nurses lead our FREE childbirth courses offered every other month. Sarting in January 2026, Postpartum/Newborn Care and Breastfeeding will be offered as two separate courses from Childbirth Preparation Series One and Two. You can choose to attend one or several courses. Please registerer for each course separately.
