AdventHealth has partnered with TELETIES, a female-founded hair-accessory brand with local roots, to turn creativity into care. Together, we’re creating thoughtful products and meaningful ways to give back — all designed to support patients, families and caregivers in the communities we call home.

Designs That Make a Difference

Created by TELETIES in honor of the founder’s son who spent time in the NICU, the TELETIES NICU Nursing Education Fund strengthens and supports the dedicated nurses at AdventHealth for Children. This fund is fueled in part by our AdventHealth for Children TELETIES Design Contest, held inside the hospital over several weeks, where patients submitted artwork celebrating hope, healing and creativity. From the many heartfelt submissions, three winning designs were selected and have been produced as limited-edition TELETIES products. These designs are available on the TELETIES website, with 20% of proceeds directly supporting NICU nurse education, ensuring our team continues to grow, upskill and deliver extraordinary care to our tiniest patients.

Meet the Designers

From dozens of heartfelt submissions, three winning designs were selected and produced as limited-edition TELETIES products. For Kyra, a 12-year-old AdventHealth for Children patient, the experience was unexpected and joyful. Her design, a simple smiley face, was created with intention. “It’s supposed to be an empathetic design that tells you to be happy, because there’s always something in the world to be happy for,” said Kyra. For Lianna, a 17-year-old patient, the drawing began as a calming moment before surgery. Seeing her artwork come to life was something she never expected.

Lindsay’s Story of Strength, Healing and New Beginnings

TELETIES began with a moment that changed everything for founder Lindsay Muscato. On June 28, 2014, when she began having early contractions, she went to AdventHealth Winter Park seeking care for herself and her baby boy. What she didn’t expect was how long their healing journey would be — or how deeply it would shape the future of her family and her work. Thanks to the NICU care their family received, today, her son is healthy — a thriving reminder of what steady, whole-person care can bring to a family in its most vulnerable moments.
