New Name, Same Mission

I hope you heard our exciting news! On January 2, Florida Hospital will become AdventHealth. Florida Hospital is part of the Adventist Health System, a national health care system with nearly 50 hospitals and more than 1,000 care locations in nine states. Our name change unites us all with a focus on whole-person care sharing one vision, one purpose and one future. Florida Hospital, along with our entire network of care across the United States, will now operate under one name: AdventHealth.

You may be wondering what this change means for you. While we remain true to our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ, you and your loved ones will have even better access to health care right when you need it. Florida Hospital Foundation will become AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida and your generous gifts will continue to provide hope and healing to patients and their families in Central Florida, just as they always have. The Foundation team remains the same, and 100% of your gifts will continue benefiting the area you designate. If you have any questions about this transition, please contact us at Call407-303-2784 or [email protected].

Today, we are expanding into personalized medicine for cancer patients, building a genomics clinic focused on heart disease, and increasing specialized health care services for children. These advancements are only possible because of the generous people in our community—people like you.

I am inviting you to be part of the story. Your donation continues our legacy of generosity that began in 1908 when Florida Hospital first opened.

Make A Gift

Please consider a gift to continue caring for the mind, body and spirit of patients in Central Florida. Your community thanks you for your commitment.

David Collis
President, Florida Hospital Foundation

P.S. After January 2, please make your check payable to AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida. Our Tax ID number will remain 59-2219301.
