The Harvey and Carol Massey Foundation has been a pillar of philanthropy in the Central Florida community since its inception in 2014. Their support of AdventHealth Winter Park has been unwavering, and with a $100,000 gift to AdventHealth Cancer Institute Winter Park, they continue to demonstrate their commitment to supporting their community.
Carol Massey stated, “You never know what your neighbor may be going through. Giving to such an incredible program ensures that those close to us—our neighbors and others in our community—have access to the same benefits.” Her daughter Andrea Massey-Farrell added, “You have to give back to build your community. Health equity—it’s not just a hot topic—it’s a real need in our community.”
The Massey family foundation gift will support patient assistance programs at the AdventHealth Winter Park's new Cancer Institute and Eden Boutique, taking care of those facing financial hardship throughout their treatment. Carol and Andrea shared that not only is it their hope that this gift helps patients financially but that their support will help them find hope and dignity at such a trying time.
