Vicki Taylor is a local artist who paints stylized florals and mandalas, incorporating elements of 16th century Ottoman art.
Her passion for drawing Turkish Anatolian florals began after she traveled to Istanbul in 2006, and became inspired by the gorgeous Suzani tapestries found in the marketplaces of Turkey. In 2012, Vicki began creating her own designs, integrating the elements of Ottoman art, and now creates custom designs and palettes for her clients.
Proceeds from her online art shop Suzani Dreams go to supporting her philanthropic work in Athens, Greece, but this September she is joining AdventHealth's #TealTakeover in honor of her dear friend, Rita, who is a gynecologic cancer survivor.
For this year's #TealTakeover, Vicki created three original, hand-painted canvases using a teal color palette and named the series "The Lotus Sisters." No woman should walk through this diagnosis alone. We are so grateful for Vicki's generosity and support.
