The annual Gartner Digital IQ Index ranks industry-specific brands among their peers based on digital marketing performance across four main areas: site, digital marketing channels, path-to-purchase and social media. This year, we exceeded the national Index average in every component area ranked: guided selling, product or service pages, transact, traffic and analytics, search and navigation, contact and account, Google search, display and OTT advertising, email, impressions, influencers and engagement.
Our digital marketing efforts reached Gartner’s Genius Brand tier — a classification awarded to just the three highest-ranking brands. Gartner’s report listed us as the top performer in the site and path-to-purchase areas, detailing these achievements:
- A frictionless, online appointment booking experience that aligns with shifting consumer preferences
- Flexibility in appointment types, with in-person or video visits
- A sophisticated facility locator system that helps patients find their closest preferred health care facility
- Strong website engagement, with a 46% higher visit duration and 21% lower bounce rate than the Index average
- Facebook advertising garnered six times more impressions than the national Index average, with ad content focused on enabling patients to conveniently schedule an appointment
- Monthly digital display advertising impressions at more than three times the national Index average
Overall, receiving this distinction in 2023 marks a year of growth and desire for continued excellence after ranking fifth last year and eighth in 2021 in the Gartner Digital IQ Index.
