Group Fitness Class Descriptions
- Aerobics

Designed to give you a workout with minimal fatigue, our group aerobics class blends cardiovascular exercise with modified resistance-training exercises ranging from low to moderate intensity.
- Full-Body Fitness

When you join our full-body fitness class, you can expect high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that incorporates cardio like walking or jogging, and medium to high-intensity bodyweight exercises.
- Monitored Movement

Our Medically Supervised Exercise Program offers curriculums for individuals with various health issues and rehabilitation goals. Members can exercise in AdventHealth Ocala Wellness Center facility while being monitored by an exercise physiologist during designated class hours. Vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation will be taken before, during, and after exercise.
- Tabata

Tabata is a cardio and strength-training hour that ranges from moderate to high intensity. You’ll begin with a cardio warm-up and then move into timed exercise intervals.
- Total-Body Fitness Classes

Strengthen your upper and lower body, core and back with a variety of moderate-intensity workout formats that incorporate resistance bands, weights, mat exercises and aerobics.
- Water Aerobics

Our water aerobics classes offer a fun and challenging cardio workout that ranges from moderate to high intensity. Using a variety of aquatic equipment and exercises, we’ll help you build strength, burn fat and tone your whole body.
- Stretch and Flex

Designed to improve balance, strength and flexibility through a variety of various stretching positions and resistance exercises. This low to moderate exercise class is led by an exercise physiologist who can modify all exercises to fit your fitness level.
