Supporting Healing in Ecuador
Clinica Americana Adventista de Quito was founded by American physician Dr. Waldo Stiles in 1961. Dr. Stiles built the hospital with his own resources during his retirement from the American Army and led its operations until 1972.
It was Dr. Stiles’ vision to extend meaningful medical missionary work in Quito, Ecuador, which continues at the hospital today with the guidance of the Adventist church.
In the 60 years that Clinica Americana Adventista de Quito has served Ecuadorians, many men and women have helped shape the history of this institution. With a reputation for quality medical treatment, dedicated staff and Christ-centered care, this hospital holds great relevance in the Quito community, and we are honored to support their legacy of healing.
