AdventHealth has named Vladimir Radivojevic president and CEO for AdventHealth GlenOaks, a 143-bed hospital serving the Glendale Heights, Illinois, community, effective July 17. He will report to Thor Thordarson, president/CEO for the Great Lakes Region of AdventHealth.
"Vladimir has an extensive background in operational leadership that will serve as a strong foundation as he steps into the CEO role,” said Terry Shaw, AdventHealth president/CEO. “His collaborative, values-driven approach will help to deepen and expand our mission in Glendale Heights.”
In his most recent role as vice president and chief operating officer for AdventHealth GlenOaks and AdventHealth Bolingbrook, Radivojevic was responsible for leadership and direction of hospital operations, budget performance and multiple service lines, including surgical services, behavioral health, pharmacy, imaging and lab. He came to AdventHealth in 2017 from Goshen Health in Indiana where he served in various leadership roles, including vice president of hospital operations; assistant vice president and later vice president of surgery, heart and vascular services; and vice president of surgery and gastrointestinal services.
"We’re very pleased to have Vladimir serve in this new capacity at our GlenOaks facility,” Thordarson said. “He has notable experience in driving financial and operational performance, and building strong relationships with team members, providers and residents in this community.”
Radivojevic has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science in physical therapy as well as a Bachelor of Science in anatomy and physiology from Andrews University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a member of its local independent chapter, the Chicago Healthcare Executive Forum.
"I’m honored to be asked to lead the incredible team at AdventHealth GlenOaks,” Radivojevic said. “These past five years have been a blessing for my family and me and I look forward to building on our accomplishments as we continue to extend the healing ministry of Christ.”
Together with his wife Amber, Radivojevic has three children: Nick (21), Alex (19) and Ben (17). In their spare time, the family enjoys traveling, hiking, rock climbing and spending time outdoors.
