AdventHealth Oneida Clinic is proud to welcome Shelbi Nolan, FNP-C, to its team of dedicated healthcare professionals. With a strong background in rural family healthcare and a passion for providing care to underserved communities, Shelbi brings a wealth of experience and a patient-centered philosophy to her new role.
A native of Southeast Kentucky, Shelbi has spent the past three years practicing in Irvine, KY, where she provided comprehensive care to patients ranging from newborns to seniors. Her clinical expertise includes chronic disease management, acute care visits, incision and drainage procedures, and women’s wellness exams.
Shelbi holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her previous roles include serving as a charge nurse in ventilator care, admissions nurse for stroke and brain injury patients, and RN in orthopedic and telemetry units.
“I grew up in a rural health community and knew I wanted to continue my passion for helping others in similar areas,” said Shelbi. “I’m committed to engaging patients in their care decisions and helping them live more positive physical, mental, and spiritual lives.”
Shelbi’s practice philosophy emphasizes a team-based approach, same-day appointments, and open communication with referring physicians.
Outside of work, Shelbi enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their golden retrievers. She is active in her church, loves to travel, hike, and is known among friends and family as “the best mommy” to her little ones.
