AdventHealth Fish Memorial has appointed Kenneth (Ken) Zill as its new chief financial officer, effective Oct. 19.
Zill most recently served as CFO of AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach, where he helped lead the hospital through a period of significant growth and financial stability. He oversaw the launch of a comprehensive oncology program and the hospital’s first surgical robotics program, while also building strong physician partnerships and improving operational efficiency. His leadership helped strengthen patient services and positioned the hospital for long-term success.
“Ken brings deep financial expertise and a strong commitment to supporting both people and mission,” said Eric Lunde, president and CEO of AdventHealth Fish Memorial. “His ability to pair sound financial management with strategic investments in care makes him an invaluable addition to our team.”
With more than 30 years in health care finance, Zill has held senior roles at AdventHealth Kissimmee, Shared Support Services, and across the AdventHealth system. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern Adventist University.
“I am honored to join AdventHealth Fish Memorial,” Zill said. “I’m excited to build on the hospital’s strong foundation and ensure that every financial decision supports what matters most – excellent care for our patients and a healthy future for West Volusia.
He fills the CFO position previously held by Jennifer Ambs, who recently became CFO for AdventHealth Orlando.
