AdventHealth has named Kenneth Rose president/CEO for UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook, effective Feb. 12. In this role, Rose will lead operations and growth plans for the campus, reporting to Herb Buchanan, interim regional CEO for AdventHealth’s Great Lakes Region.
He will also have executive oversight of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks and will lead the development and execution of strategies that support the total network of care for these two facilities, including being responsible for the implementation of critical service line strategies for the Great Lakes Region. Vladimir Radivojevic, president/CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth GlenOaks will report to Rose.
“Kenneth is a leader with a bias for action and a heart for building care teams that are committed to providing clinically excellent, consumer-focused, faith-based health care in the communities they serve,” said David Banks, group CEO for AdventHealth’s Multi-State and Primary Health divisions. “I’m excited to see him step into this role as we seek to deepen the delivery of whole-person care throughout Chicagoland.”
Currently, Rose serves as the president/CEO for Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, a partnership of AdventHealth and Texas Health Resources, where he oversees the strategic development, growth and operations for the hospital. Joining Texas Health Hospital Mansfield in 2019, Rose led the successful opening of the new campus, which includes a four-story hospital and an 80,000-square-foot medical office building that provides primary and specialty care to Mansfield residents. Prior to being appointed CEO, Rose served as vice president of ancillary services for Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South.
Rose has been with AdventHealth since 2008 when he joined the organization as a management resident. He has previously served as administrative director of radiology services and the neuroscience service line for AMITA Health in Illinois, a former joint venture between AdventHealth and Ascension.
“I’m thrilled to come back to the place where I started my career and work with this talented team as we continue to extend Christ’s healing ministry to the growing community of Bolingbrook,” said Rose. “I’m excited about the future of the Great Lakes Region and how our teams at Bolingbrook and GlenOaks will help further our mission and promise of wholeness.”
Rose holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University in Orlando, Florida. He currently serves as chairman for the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce board and on the board of directors for the Arlington/Mansfield YMCA.
