Jessica Baird-Wertman has been named chief executive officer of the primary care network (PCN) for AdventHealth, effective Nov. 2. She will continue to report to Scott Brady, MD, network president and CEO of primary, home, urgent and retail care for the Primary Health Division. In this role, Baird-Wertman will lead primary care network operations and development along with implementation of new business strategies to enhance the overall performance of the primary care network.
“Jessica has been a vital part of our primary care network’s growth and success,” said Dr. Brady. “Her passion for mission, business innovation, operational excellence and patient-centered care has strengthened our teams and advanced our brand promise to provide whole-person care. I’m confident that under her leadership, PCN will continue to thrive and expand its impact across our communities.
Most recently, Baird-Wertman served as chief operating officer of the primary care network. In that role, she focused on patient access, patient experience, financial sustainability and building competence in value-based care for 15 counties within the state of Florida.
