Hospital Names Assistant Vice President of Finance

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., August 24, 2016 Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center has named Danny Mihalic to serve as assistant vice president of finance.

In this role, Mihalic will work with the hospital's chief financial officer to oversee the operations of finance, accounting, patient access and clinical documentation.

A Palm Coast resident, Mihalic has six years of healthcare finance experience. He most recently served as assistant chief financial officer at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville where he oversaw the accounting, health information management and information technology departments.

Mihalic received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College.
