DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 28, 2016 On Jan. 25, the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties donated $10,000 to the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties.
The United Way supports many agencies in our community that provide assistance to those in need, said Ken Mattison, Florida Hospital Flagler CEO and board member of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties since 2014. They hold agencies accountable for good stewardship of the funds provided and operate an efficient administration services. We believe in what the United Way is doing and are pleased to be able to support the many community agencies that are focused on helping our friends and neighbors in need.
The United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties works tirelessly to make a difference for those living in our community and we are proud to support these incredible efforts, said Jill Piazza, vice president of care integration for all Florida Hospitals in the state, as well as board member of the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties since 2007. Both Ken and I consider it a privilege to represent Florida Hospital on the board and helping to meet these community needs.
