Florida Hospital Waterman hosted Fishing League Worldwide (FLW) Anglers Jay Kendrick, Cody Kelley, Jimmy Reese, Joe Long and Billy Hines for a public meet and greet last week in the lobby of their Tavares campus. The professional anglers were in the area as part of the Fishing League Worldwide Tour stop on the Harris Chain of Lakes that took place February 22 - 25 at Venetian Gardens in Leesburg.
The FLW anglers brought their trucks and boats to the Florida Hospital Waterman parking lot and signed autographs during the morning meet and greet in the lobby. Patients enjoyed surprise visits from the professional anglers, including anesthesiologist Jay Kendrick, MD., who was the 2015 Rayovac Champion.
Lake County is world renown for its gorgeous lakes and waterways, says Florida Hospital Waterman CEO, Abel Biri. We are proud to be located in this beautiful region and are happy to be involved in this community event in support of sports, health and nature. It was a blessing to our team members and patients to meet the FLW anglers and an honor to show them our campus.
