PALM COAST, Fla., April 25, 2016 Florida Hospital Flagler has selected William Raink Hembree to serve as facilities manager.
In this role, Hembree will oversee the daily operation of engineering staff and will work closely with the facilities director to plan, coordinate and complete all construction and renovations to ensure they are in compliance with all regulatory agency codes and standards with minimal disruption to patient care.
Hembree has more than 30 years of experience and most recently served as facility operations specialist in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In this role, he managed and inspected numerous facilities, suggested repairs, and obtained necessary contracts and personnel. Hembree has also performed duties as facility manager with Ridgeview Institute in Smyrna, Ga., maintenance director at Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, Tenn., and maintenance supervisor at Palm Garden of Largo in Seminole, Fla.
A Palm Coast resident, Hembree holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tennessee Technological University, in addition to engineering certification from U.S. Army. Additionally, he is a retired U.S. Army officer and completed a tour in the Middle East with the Department of Defense.
