PALM COAST, Fla., December 14, 2016 On Dec. 9, nearly 70 patients joined Florida Hospital Flagler family practice physician Dr. Tanam Ahmed in celebrating her five-year anniversary practicing medicine at the Palm Coast hospital.
Guests stopped by to congratulate Ahmed on this milestone and meet her new Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) Nargiza Ayupova who is fluent in Russian. Ahmed is fluent in English, French, and Bengali.
Ahmed joined the Florida Hospital Flagler medical staff in 2011 and enjoys seeing patients of all ages, from newborn to seniors, but has a special interest in women's health and pediatrics.
She received her Bachelor of Science from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and Medical Degree from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Netherlands-Antilles. Additionally, Ahmed completed a family medicine residency at Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center at Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Association.
Located inside the Florida Hospital Flagler Parkway Medical Plaza at 120 Cypress Edge Dr., Suite 203, Palm Coast, her office accepts most insurance plans and welcomes new patients. Her office can be reached at Call386-586-4390.
