AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce that Eric R. Guerra, MD, has joined AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Dalton and AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Calhoun.
Dr. Guerra joins an extensive team of cardiologists and the care teams at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Dalton and Calhoun, which offers a wide range of medical services for its patients. The clinicians provide comprehensive cardiovascular services and solutions that help patients and families feel their best.
Dr. Guerra works collaboratively with you and a multidisciplinary team to accomplish the desired treatment goals with care and compassion. “I will listen to my patients’ complaints and help them heal in difficult times of illness,” Dr. Guerra said.
Dr. Guerra earned his medical degree at Univ. Autonomous of Guadalajara Medical School in Jalisco, Mexico. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Drew University Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Guerra completed fellowship training in Vascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, Cardiology at the University of Tennessee-Memphis and in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Guerra is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, the American Board of Vascular Medicine in Vascular and Endovascular Medicine and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Guerra speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Outside of caring for his patients, he enjoys sports and spending time with family.
