Gordon Hospital, a member of Adventist Health System, is pleased to announce that Dr. Sheela Hanasoge, MD, PhD, has joined the Harris Radiation Therapy Center as a radiation oncologist alongside Dr. Lorie Hughes.
I am delighted to be a radiation oncologist at Gordon Hospital. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our patients and the community, said Dr. Hanasoge. I am very passionate about the role of radiation therapy in the care of patients with cancer, whether it be with a curative intent or for palliation of symptoms. I look forward to playing a part in taking our program to the next level and providing our patients with the full range of radiation oncology services with the latest technology and individualized care."
Dr. Hanasoge is a graduate of Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India. She then received her PhD from the University of Michigan for research in radiation and cancer biology.
