Christa Ledford has been named AdventHealth Gordon’s latest SonShine Award recipient.
Christa Ledford, a nurse tech at AdventHealth Gordon, received a nomination from her coworker who said the following:
“Christa consistently goes above and beyond to help take care of our patients and plays an integral role as a member of our weekend team. She volunteers to stay over on days when we're short staffed. She offers assistance with tasks that are outside of her responsibility, and she always has a smile on her face and keeps a positive attitude while doing lt. Her work ethic is admirable and the dedication she has to her role lives out the definition of this award. I'm so thankful for her!”
The SonShine Award was established by AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray in 2017 to honor the hard work and dedication of its employees. Quarterly awards provide opportunities for patients, visitors and other team members to recognize and reward team members for exceptional accomplishments and demonstrated behaviors that are aligned to the mission, vision and values of AdventHealth.
The name SonShine was developed by AdventHealth Murray and AdventHealth Gordon team members. The recipients of the SonShine award “shine” for the “Son” of God through their warm and comforting care they provide to patients and their fellow employees.
