Amanda Brady has been named senior vice president of finance for AdventHealth effective February 3, 2020, and will report directly to Paul Rathbun, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer for AdventHealth. In this role, she will provide oversight to strategic finance areas, such as capital and balance sheet planning, corporate accounting and finance functions, and the companywide budgeting and financial reporting processes. Additionally, treasury and strategic investments will be part of her portfolio of responsibility.
“Amanda is a proven and trusted finance leader in our organization, and I am confident she will excel in this role to support and grow our business and markets,” said Rathbun.
Brady joined AdventHealth’s internal audit department in 2006 and has served in expanded finance and accounting roles since then, most recently as vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. Her experience also includes time at Ernst and Young serving clients in various industries, including health care.
“I feel blessed to have the opportunity to serve AdventHealth in this capacity and collaborate with our markets in stewarding our financial resources to provide exceptional, whole-person care while maintaining our financial strength,” said Brady.
Brady is a certified public accountant and holds an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA from the University of North Florida. She leads the corporate headquarters chapter of AdventHealth’s Women Leadership Forum.
She and her husband James have two children, Rachel and Grant. As a family, they enjoy Florida’s beaches, traveling and watching Rachel play volleyball.
