This week, a group of three cardiothoracic surgeons signed contracts to join AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiothoracic Surgery at Redmond Road.
AdventHealth Redmond is pleased to welcome Ademola Adeseye, MD, MPH, Dhru Girard, MD, and Cyrus J. Parsa, MD, to the AdventHealth Redmond team.
“This is an extremely qualified and talented group of cardiothoracic surgeons who have been an integral part of our heart program for many years,” said Mike Ware, MD, cardiologist at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Rome. “Our cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons have had a longstanding positive and collaborative approach to patient care, and I am thrilled to see AdventHealth Redmond continue to invite world-class physicians onto the team.”
Dr. Adeseye obtained his medical degree at the University of Ibandan in Nigeria and completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma/OU Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. He completed a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
Dr. Girard obtained his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Dr. Parsa obtained his medical degree at the Albany Medical School in Albany, New York. He completed his residency at the University of California San Francisco in Oakland in general surgery and finished a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
