AdventHealth Redmond is 1 of 483 hospitals nationwide to receive a 5-star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2023. This is the highest possible achievement of CMS’s Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings. AdventHealth Redmond was one of nine other hospitals in Georgia that received a five-star rating in 2023.
CMS assigns star ratings to hospitals across the country based on the performances in five quality categories: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience and timely and effective care. Data reporting periods range from January 2019 to March 2022, depending on the measure. This ranking system was created to help consumers easily compare hospitals to make more informed decisions about their care.
“We are immensely proud to be recognized as a CMS 5-star facility, standing among the select group of nine exceptional hospitals in Georgia,” said Isaac Sendros, president and CEO of AdventHealth Redmond. “This achievement reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients in Northwest Georgia.”
