AdventHealth Redmond is 1 of 429 hospitals nationwide to receive a 5-star rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2022. This is the highest possible achievement of CMS’s Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings.
CMS assigns star ratings to hospitals across the country based on the performances in five quality categories: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience and timely and effective care. This ranking system was created to help consumers easily compare hospitals to make more informed decisions about their care.
AdventHealth Redmond was also recently recognized as the number one top teaching hospital on the Fortune/ Merative 100 Top Hospitals list, formerly known as IBM Watson. This is the third year in a row AdventHealth Redmond has been recognized as a top 100 hospital by Fortune/ Merative. The hospital received 5 stars for clinical outcomes, operation efficiency, patient experience and financial health.
“We are honored to be recognized as a 5-star facility,” said Mike Murrill, president and CEO of AdventHealth Redmond. “AdventHealth Redmond continues its legacy as a high performing hospital with long-tenured leaders, team members and physicians who provide the best care and quality to our patients and community.”
