AdventHealth Redmond EMT Jared Firestone accepts the FrontLine award from Marty Robinson, director of EMS for AdventHealth Redmond, and a representative of the Rome Noon Optimist Club.
The Rome Noon Optimist and Seven Hills Rotary clubs recently hosted their annual FrontLine Awards to recognize first responders who serve the Rome area with dedication and integrity. AdventHealth Redmond EMT Jared Firestone was recognized for his contributions to the safety of our community.
His nomination read:
“Every now and then a person comes along and breathes a breath of fresh air into an organization. Jared is that person. It didn’t take long before we realized that we needed Jared more than he needed us. He has a true servant heart. His positive attitude and smile are infectious, and he is a joy to be around. He has worked hard to overcome many obstacles in in his life, including a stint where he lived out of his car, to get to where he is now. He has obtained his Advanced EMT license and now has his eyes on becoming a paramedic. I am certain that he will be successful. I can think of no one that is more deserving of the FrontLine Award than Jared Firestone.”
“Jared’s hard work, dedication and compassion for others exemplifies our mission at AdventHealth of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ,” added Marty Robinson, director of EMS at AdventHealth Redmond.
Jared accepted his award with gratitude and humbly stated, “As always, all glory to God and thank you, Jesus.”
AdventHealth Redmond is grateful for team members like Jared who exemplify our mission and make our community a better place to live, work and thrive.
