For more than 60 years, AdventHealth DeLand has cared for generations of families across West Volusia, and that legacy is growing with plans for a new primary care location in DeLand.
The project will transform an existing building on a 17-acre property at South Woodland Boulevard and West New Hampshire Avenue into a welcoming space for whole-person health.
Construction is expected to begin by the first quarter of 2026 and the facility is expected to begin welcoming patients during the first quarter of 2027.
“Our hospital has been part of this community for more than six decades, and this next step builds on that history of caring for our neighbors,” said Khelsea Bauer, president and CEO of AdventHealth DeLand. “We’re making it easier for people to receive high-quality, compassionate care close to home — because health should be convenient, connected and centered around the people we serve.”
The first phase of the project will relocate existing primary care offices from the AdventHealth DeLand campus to the new location.
A future phase will add specialty services, giving families more options for coordinated care in one place.
This investment also creates room on the hospital campus to expand additional specialties, supporting the evolving health needs of local residents for years to come.
AdventHealth DeLand’s continued growth reflects a long-standing commitment to care for people — body, mind and spirit — and to strengthen the health of the community it has called home for generations.
