AdventHealth Murray, together with team members, community members and local leaders, will celebrate the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 4 at 11:30 am.
The event, held in front of the entrance of AdventHealth Murray, will feature hospital and community leaders who will lead prayers for our community, families, churches and our country. The theme for this year’s event is “Pray Fervently in Righteousness and Avail Much” derived from James 5:16, which says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”
The event was created to bring together those in the community who believe in prayer as well as to further AdventHealth Murray’s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ to all they serve.
"For many, prayer is an integral part of daily life and offers a rich connection to our spiritual lives, nurturing our relationships and faith. National Day of Prayer is a wonderful time to come together as a community—to join our voices in prayer and collectively intercede for our families, friends, our nation, society and the world at large.” said Chaplain Alexa Hernandez of AdventHealth Murray.
