AdventHealth Medical Group is pleased to announce the opening of its new pediatric clinic, AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatrics at Shorter Avenue, which will be opening January 2, 2024.
The clinic provides well-baby and well-child checks, immunizations, preventive care and works collaboratively with patients and their families to manage chronic medical conditions for babies through 18 years of age.
Bethany W. Jackson, MD, board-certified pediatrician, is skilled in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to young patients. Together with our expert care team, Dr. Jackson cares for her patients as they grow throughout their childhood.
In practice since 2008, Dr. Jackson chose pediatrics as her specialty because she understands the importance of helping parents do their most important job — raising their babies and children to be healthy, both physically and mentally. She enjoys developing relationships with her young patients that last through the many phases of childhood.
Dr. Jackson earned her medical degree from Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed her residency in pediatric medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are thrilled to open our first pediatric clinic in Rome to better serve families and children in our area. Dr. Jackson and her care team have deep roots here and understand the high calling of providing care for our youngest patients,” said Scott Hill, vice president of physician enterprise for AdventHealth Georgia.
AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatrics at Shorter Avenue is located in the shopping complex of 2112 Shorter Avenue in Rome, in the same location as our AdventHealth Medical Group Family and Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine and Sports Med and Rehab clinics.
