AdventHealth Manchester is proud to announce the success of our recent Coffee & Conversation event held on National Health Care Decision Day. The event took place at the AdventHealth Primary Care Clinic at 56 Marie Langdon Drive, Manchester, KY, and saw over 35 attendees who were educated on the importance of making their healthcare wishes known.
During the event, healthcare professionals from AdventHealth and Bluegrass Care Navigators engaged with the community to discuss critical topics such as:
- The significance of having 'the conversation' about healthcare decisions.
- Important non-medical considerations.
- Key information families should know.
Attendees were treated to free coffee while they participated in these meaningful discussions, making the event both informative and enjoyable.
In addition to the Manchester location, we also hosted this event at our AdventHealth Clinic Corbin location with over 50 in attendance, further extending our reach and impact within the communities we serve.
Crystal Day, the Marketing Director at AdventHealth, emphasized the importance of these conversations, stating, "Our goal is to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their healthcare and ensure their wishes are respected. We are thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback from the community."
AdventHealth remains committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. We look forward to continuing these educational initiatives and fostering a healthier community.
