About this Event

Feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Join us for a 90-minute introduction to mindfulness and learn simple, practical ways to bring calmer and balance into your daily life. Based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, this session will introduce the foundations of mindfulness, explore simple guided practices such as breathing and body awareness, and discuss how to integrate mindfulness into everyday routines. You’ll discover how small moments of mindfulness can make a big difference in reducing stress and improving well-being. No experience needed—just come as you are and take a mindful pause for yourself.

Erik Hulse is a retired police officer who now dedicates his work to teaching mindfulness for stress reduction and resilience. He brings his experience in high-stress professions to support diverse groups—including community members, corrections staff, mental health providers and consumers, college students, first responders, and combat veterans. Erik’s compassionate, down-to-earth approach helps people find calm, balance, and connection in their daily lives.
