Publix Super Markets Sebring North donated 1,332 toys for pediatric patients at AdventHealth Sebring. The toys were collected over a two-week period and donated to the hospital on Wednesday, Dec. 19. The toys will be distributed to children in the ER and pediatric suites during their stays and examinations.

Drummer Battle of the Bands and crew delivered 21 bags of toys, which were collected through a community donation process, to be dispersed between AdventHealth's three locations: Sebring, Lake Placid and Wauchula. Santa and Mrs. Claus joined the heartfelt activity, bringing more than 40 new teddy bears to pediatric patients.

Santa and his elves traveled to AdventHealth Wauchula on Thursday, Dec. 20, and AdventHealth Sebring and Lake Placid campuses on Friday, Dec. 21, to bring Christmas gifts to all admitted hospital patients. This joyous activity was made possible through Santa’s Helpers of Mid-Florida, Inc., a non-profit group that spreads the Christmas spirit throughout local hospitals.
