DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., October 19, 2016 The Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties, which composes the Florida Hospital East Florida Region, has selected Clarissa Moholick to serve as the regional director of oncology quality, accreditations and data management.
Moholick has nearly 30 years of experience and most recently served as the manager of the cancer registry department for the Florida Hospital East Florida Region. In this role, she was responsible for planning and organizing the cancer committees, cancer conferences and cancer registry operations.
Moholick, a Clermont resident, earned a bachelors degree in health information management from Illinois State University and a masters degree in health services administration from University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. Additionally, she is a certified tumor registrar (CTR) and a certified clinical research professional (CCRP).
Moholick served for one year as chair of college curriculum to the National Cancer Registrars Association and has served for the past four years on the steering committee and data/quality subcommittees of the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Consortium. Additionally, in the mid-1990s, Moholick developed a college course teaching cancer data management for three years.
