Your Visit Blesses Them

Let Us Bless You

Your hospital visits are so important to the people in our care. Whether you’re just dropping in to say hello or staying for a long conversation, your presence lifts their spirits and shows them that you care.

We also care, which is why we’re dedicated to making your visit to our Daytona Beach hospital as convenient as possible. Need something to eat? Stop by our café. Didn’t have time to pick up a gift for your loved one? Step into our gift shop. Maybe you need a quiet place to pray. We've thought of that, too. While you’re here spending time with your loved one, it’s our pleasure to serve both of you.

Prayer rooms are located by the nurses’ station in the Emergency Department, on the second floor by the waiting area in the Surgical Services Department, and on the third floor by the waiting area in the Cardiovascular Unit.

Guest Services

Pastoral Care

For those times when you need a little more support, our pastoral-care team is available to lift your spirits with wise counsel, provide religious services, or put you in touch with a leader from your own religious community. If your loved one would like a visit from the chaplain, call the pastoral-care line at 386-231-3044. Or call the hospital operator at 386-231-6000 and ask for the on-call chaplain.

Additionally, our spiritual ambassadors are available to pray with or for you. Simply ask a staff member.

Pastoral Care

A hospital stay can be an unexpected, anxious and a lonely time, not only for loved ones, but family and friends as well. AdventHealth Daytona Beach knows that your spiritual care is also an important part of the healing process. That’s why members of the Department of Pastoral Care are available to you and your loved ones during your time in the hospital, providing you with spiritual care and support.

Contact a Chaplain

Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain, and we are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.
