After Isaiah was born, Dr. Garcia determined that they could wait three months before performing surgery to correct the condition. While the surgery was performed in Orlando, all of the pre-operative and post-operative visits have occurred at the AdventHealth for Children Specialty Clinic in Melbourne.
“It couldn’t be more perfect,” explains Isaiah’s mom Courtney Englert. “We live just 15 minutes from the clinic. My husband and I have two other children with busy schedules. Isaiah is our youngest and requires follow-up visits every three months, so this has been a huge help.”
Isaiah turned 2 in January of 2020 and is doing well, but will continue to require follow-up visits with Dr. Garcia.
