At AdventHealth our Global Missions team proudly extends the healing ministry of Christ around the world.

Global Missions empowers volunteers to serve the international community where it is needed most. With compassionate care and mutual respect, we hope to permanently enhance the quality of life for those in need.

AdventHealth Global Missions supports the AdventHealth Family Medicine Residency and Women's Health Fellowship in their work to improve health outcomes for women in rural areas of Mexico.

Since 2005 and with the ongoing support of the Rotary Club of Tuxtla Gutierrez, the medical team has provided care to over 2,000 indigenous Mexican women, with the goal of making a lasting impact on screening and treatment for cervical cancer.

The medical care includes colposcopies and colposcopic exams, cryosurgery, LEEPs, treatment of all gynecological infections, and provision of antibiotics and vitamins.
