In 2018, Dr. Elie Honore, President of Adventist Health System InterAmerica (based at the InterAmerican Division of Seventh-day Adventists), introduced the leadership of Centro Medico Vista del Jardin to AdventHealth’s Global Missions team at Orlando. An initial meeting occurred in Orlando with Mr. Winston Hiciano, CEO, Dr. Gregorio Santana, CMO, and Mr. Jose Batista, CFO, attending from Centro Medico and Monty Jacobs, Andrea Ward and others attending on behalf of AdventHealth. Tours of the Global Missions warehouse and the Orlando campus of AdventHealth occurred during this visit. Subsequently, Dr. Santana and Mr. Batista returned to spend more time identifying needed materials from the Global Missions warehouse.
