Metastatic Breast Cancer
Metastatic breast cancer is cancer that has spread to other organs. This condition is often manageable for a long period of time via treatments that can help slow its progression or even push the cancer into remission more than once. Especially if metastatic breast cancer has not spread beyond one or two organs, if the cancer cells have estrogen or progesterone hormone receptors and have not become resistant to certain therapies – and if you have not previously undergone multiple forms of treatment - there is good reason to believe that your new treatment plan will produce positive results.
