DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., July 24, 2019 – AdventHealth Medical Group has selected Kelly Rogers to serve as the director of anesthesia operations.
AdventHealth Medical Group is the hospital system’s employed group of physicians with more than 300 providers, including 160 primary care doctors and specialists in Volusia, Flagler and Lake counties.
In this role, Rogers is responsible for the business operations of the AdventHealth Medical Group’s anesthesia services at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Rogers will collaborate with the medical chief of anesthesia Dr. Jose Ortiz to optimize and streamline operations at the 359-bed facility.
Rogers has 25 years of experience as a registered nurse with a clinical background in critical care and open-heart recovery. She has 15 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare.
She joined AdventHealth in 2010 and most recently served as executive director of care integration. In this role, she was responsible for integrating ambulatory care management and population health services across the AdventHealth locations in Volusia, Flagler, Lake, Orange and Seminole counties.
A Volusia County resident, Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville and a Master of Science in Nursing and Healthcare Management Systems from Loyola University New Orleans in Louisiana.
