This Accreditation is the result of diligent work by leading electrophysiologists. It incorporates recent guidelines and expert consensus statements by recognized professional organizations regarding the care of electrophysiology patients.

Hospitals that earn ACC Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI Accreditation have proven exceptional competency in treating patients with heart attack symptoms and have primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) available 24/7. As required to meet the criteria of the accreditation designation, they have streamlined their systems from admission and evaluation to diagnosis and treatment, all the way through to appropriate post-discharge care, recommendations and assistance in patient lifestyle changes.

Cardiac Cath Lab Accreditation recognizes our holistic approach to the assessment, treatment and management of patients receiving cath lab services. Participation in this program helps us implement all the pre-, peri- and post-procedures that are essential to the safe care and efficient scheduling of patients through the cath lab.
