More Energy Throughout the Day
- Discover Your Sleep Health at Our Sleep Center
Poor sleep leads to more than just a few yawns. It can affect you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s why at AdventHealth North Pinellas, formerly Florida Hospital North Pinellas, we take a whole-person approach to your care, helping to improve your quality of sleep while helping you feel comfortable and confident. If you suspect a sleep disorder, we’ll start by having you take one of our self-assessment tests. We’ll take this information and combine it with a bigger picture of your sleep patterns that we'll confirm using a sleep study, monitoring you at our modern and fully accredited sleep centers in Tarpon Springs and Clearwater. Here, you’ll find a cozy, soothing environment to help you relax and feel at home. Our convenient sleep center is equipped with advanced, painless tests for sleep disorders, including:
- Diagnostic Polysomnograms – A test that measures your brain activity, breathing, heart rate and more while you sleep to help us provide a quick diagnosis for many sleep disorders
- Home Sleep Testing – A monitoring device you wear overnight in the comfort of your own home to help us diagnose conditions like sleep apnea
- Maintenance of Wakefulness Testing (MWT) – A test performed in a relaxing environment that examines how alert you are throughout the day, which is very useful for measuring how well your treatment is working
- Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MSLT) – A test used to measure excessive daytime sleepiness which explores how easily you fall asleep in a quiet environment during the day
- Titration Polysomnograms – A study performed after a diagnosis of sleep apnea to help tailor your treatment to you and make sure you're comfortable using a breathing device
You’re ready to rest easy again, so we’ll let you know the results of your sleep study within 48 hours of its completion. The sooner you understand your sleep patterns, the faster we can get you dozing off, free of worry and complications. Get started today by contacting us at Call727-524-2896.
